Our volunteers at the circulation desk are always at the ready to assist you with all of your library needs. Whether it be to check out or return books, magazines, audio books, DVDs or games; help with finding a book or getting one from the BANQ for you or just for a chat, they are here to help!

Large Collection Of Print Materials

Large Collection Of Print Materials

With just over 32,000 books and documents in French and English, with new releases every month. Adult, teen and childrens books, fiction and non-fiction, LARGE PRINT, board books and graphic novels, local history, papers and various magazines; there is something here for everyones interest.

Borrow DVDs and Audiobooks

Borrow DVDs and Audiobooks

With just over 2,000 DVDs and Blue Ray movies ranging from comedy, murder mystery, romance, sci-fi, TV series, documentry, cartoon, educational and more for children to adult; there's something there for anyones entertainment.

We also have 350 audio books for those long boring car trips, or just to relax in your own comfortable space.

Enjoy family time with your children here at the library. Throughout the year we offer theatre performances, workshops, story time, childrens movies, TD Reading Club and much more.

For adults we have book clubs, lectures, art exhibits, chess club, book signings, movies and more.

The Little Green Library is proud to recognize the Ciné-Cinema committee for the great work in producing this branch of the library. Offering films in French and English and/or with subtitels. Ciné-Cinema presents movies made outside of the "Hollywood boxoffice" and not often shown in conventional movie theaters. With an upgradded theatre space and a double programming roster, we're sure looking forward to a great movie season.

Computer Center

Visit our newly updated computer center with all new computers and Windows 11 in English and in French, loaded with all of the typical software for getting work done. We offer print & copy service at reasonable prices and table workspace which you can bring your own laptop, tablet or cell phone using our high-speed WiFi internet. Our volunteers are always eager to assist you any way they can.

Access to the internet, self-service computer stations, a patron search station (electronic card catalogue database), coffee sold on-site, with many nooks and crannys to relax in and curl up with a good book or just chill and hang out with a friend or two, I'm sure you'll find a warm welcoming area that you can call your own!

Space Available For Non-Profit Organizations

Conference room available for meetings, conferences, book or writing clubs, for group or individual work. Have an idea about holding a conference, lectures or a workshop? Speak to a volunteer at the front desk to check the room schedule and place a reservation. Available and free to all non-profit organizations.
Chess Club For All Ages

Chess Club For All Ages

All chess Grandmasters start somewhere, so start your chess journey with us at The Little Green Library as we explore the fun and creative game together. No previous experience required as Mathieu and Nicolas would be more than happy to teach and coach you. This club aims to improve chess play and maintains a friendly environment where learning takes priority over winning. Meet players who will take the time to review the games you play and point out ideas. Open to all, kids and adults, beginners and experts. Chess sets and clocks are available. Every Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00pm right here at The Little Green Library. For more information contact:

Used Book Boutique

Used Book Boutique

The Library continually, and with great pleasure, receives donations of books from the population. The books that cannot be added to our collection for various reasons are placed for sale in our little used book boutique. Prices range from 10, 50 cents and $1.00 for books. Every day that we are opened, you can purchase a whole bag of books of your choice from our boutique for $5.00 We'll even suply the bags for you so on those rainy days or cold winter nights you won't be without something to read.

Local Aritists' Exhibitions

Local Aritists' Exhibitions

Our exhibition room show off the talents of local artists. Multiple mediums used: Oil and water color, pastels, ink, pencil, photography or a hybrid of them all and many more. Come and join us in a tranqual setting during an artist opening (vernissage) to meet and chat with the aritist and friends. If you or someone you know would like to display your work, please don't hesitate to give us a call or speak to a volunteer in person.
