The Little Green Library is pleased to announce a new exhibition of paintings by local artist, Barbara Barr, featuring her water colour paintings of animals. You ara invited to the vernissage on Saturday, January 25 at 2:00p.m. Refreshments will be offered.

Barbara Barr  became a member of the local community upon her retirement in 1996. She is an active volunteer in the library. She has  painted for most of her adult life. At first she painted on her own, but for the last several years she has been a student of Pat Walsh, a well known local artist. Pat is an intuitive and encouraging teacher and Barbara has grown and developed artistically in her class.  Barbara has a deep love for animals and their presence is important in her life. Painting animals is a deep pleasure for her and keeps her love of painting alive and well.
